GenderQueer
A group of GenderQueers joins us in the studio to talk about what gender queer means to each of them. They also talk about where they fit (or don't fit) into the community of both the larger transgender and the FTM (felamle-to-male) communities.
Participants:
Kurt is an artist
Dan likes to pretend to be a writer, girl, singer, cartoonist, bi/trans/poly activist, boy, superhero, and/or cat. You can see Dan's writing and artwork in the "BiWomen Newsletter" as well as in the "Blessed Bee Family Newsletter," a quarterly newsletter for Pagan families, and in "Uncle Dan's Storytime Corner" on butchdykeboy.com.
Cole is a third-year law student at Northeastern University School of Law. He's a founding member of the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition and of the Northeastern Law School Transgender Task Force. He co-facilitates Genderversity, a monthly gender discussion group, and writes an ongoing column for butchdykeboy.com on being genderqueer in the workplace.
Gunner is a trouble making gender queer boy and founder of www.butchdykeboy.com and Gender Crash, as well as the Organizer/Outreach Coordinator for The Network/La Red: Ending abuse in lesbian, bisexual women's and transgender communities.
