31:45 This week we travel back in time and review some US West Coast GLBT history with researcher, writer, queer historian and artist Susan Stryker. Susan is the executive director of the GLBT Historical Society of Northern California, and a former history columnist for Planet Out. She holds a social science research post doctorate fellowship in sexuality studies in the history department at Stanford University. Susan co-authored the book "Gay by the Bay: A History of Queer Culture in the San Francisco Bay Area" and edited "The Transgender Issue" (Journal of Lesbian and Gay Studies, Vol 4, No 2, 1998).
In her 'secret life as an artist,' Susan collaborated with Shu Lea Cheang and Jordy Jones on the Guggenheim-supported Brandon Teena web-based multimedia exhibit.
