15:27 Question of the Week
" I'm very confused about 'labels' especially now that I'm on the Internet. I'm not transgendered, I am a female lesbian who likes all kinds of women; femme, butch, androgynous? I guess I'm androgynous, because I'm not totally femme and I'm not totally butch, I'm in between. The chat lines want only total butches and total femmes to reply. Please direct me to a chat line that will accept me. I have known all of my life I was a lesbian, but tried to do the 'straight' thing until I was 28, then I came out. I'm now forty and still wondering where I belong. I haven't found that right person yet, but hopefully I will. I'm not saying I want to find it on the computer, I just want to communicate with people like me who understand me and don't judge me or 'label' me. I am a woman who loves other women and that's it! 24:33 The Twisted Nasty News continues
38:26 While many Americans root for sports teams named "Indians" and "Chiefs", natives of this land are deeply hurt by such imagery. Our guest, Annalyssa Gypsy Murphy, Blackfoot/Cherokee Native American and college teacher, reminds us of the terrible injustices and brutalities suffered at the hands of Columbus and others like him, true American history that is rarely mentioned in our history books.

75:58 Most of us are aware of some sterotypically male-gendered behaviors that can be hurtful to our relationships with our loved ones, but there has been inadequate study of this phenomenon. Matt Brieding tells us of his graduate research project at Notre Dame, in which he is assessing how male gender role conflict (not to be confused with Gender Identity Disorder) affects wive's marital adjustment.
Matt defines 'gender role conflict' as restrictive emotions, conflict between work and family, difficulty expressing emotions with other men.
