Among those who have served our country's military with pride and honor are an increasing number of persons identifying as transgender. This newly-visible constituency will be holding their second march in Washington later this month. Monica Helms joins us to talk about this event and it's purpose. Monica is President of TAVA, the Transgender American Veteran's Association, writes a quarterly column for Transgender Tapestry magazine, and serves on the Board of Advisors for NCTE, the National Center for Transgender Equality.
