• Transgender Day of Remembrance
10:47 Question of the Week
" As a gay man who came out in a Culture of Strong Willed and Opinionated Drag Queens, I find I have a bias/preference to befriend FTM rather than MTF. After much soul searching (wondering if it's my own desire to be a drag queen or transvestite or transexual) I have come to believe I enjoy strong personalities and have found on most (not all) occasions to experience MTF as weak. As if to be a woman, they have to be passive, forgiving, and powerless. Yet I find woman to be strong, courageous, and enduring. Why, when transitioning from MTF, are the best parts lost? And how do you help them to realize/sustain those good parts? "
