Question of the Week
" I live in Los Angeles, and everyday, I see most women wearing pants and men wearing ear rings. If (statistically) there is so much discrimination, violence, and antisocial behavior commited against people who do not conform to "gender roles", are the people who have GID the majority (or the minority) of these victims? Are people who assult women because they "think she is a transsexual" more often wrong in identification of their victims? If I wear pants does that make me a transsexual? Who is to say? What if the attacker judges wrong? "

Our guest is Daniel Ward, a Navy veteran originally from Stockton, California, and a founding member of the activist organization Queers Undermining Israeli Terrorism. Some years ago he appeared on the Sally Jessy Raphael Show to articulate the position that neither gay nor straight people should be in the US military, or want to be. He earns his living as a gardener.
