Georgie Jessup (beautifulthunder@aol.com), singer/songwriter of transgender experience. Georgie talks about how it was her meeting with Frank Fools Crow at Wounded Knee, South Dakota, that clarifed for her the Winkte (Win-Tay) concept of embodying traits of both man and woman. She now carries on the Winkte tradition in her music and life. Georgie is a musician of long standing and respect from her peers, with a deep commitment to spiritual wholeness.
Her CD "American Holocaust" is available directly from her for $15 (send a check to 7553 Wigley Ave, Jessup, MD 20794). All proceeds from the sale of American Holocaust will be dontated to The Chief Frank Fools Crow Memorial Foundation and Humanitarian Fund.
She also has a tape of trans-specific material -- songs include "Transsexual Truck Stop" and "Post-Op Freeway" -- for $12.
