00:00 Introduction
15:27 Question of the Week
Question: "What makes a Transsexual a Transsexual? I've heard many different versions, mainly from the people that CLAIM to be, but I'm still wondering. I'd like to hear about both F2m & M2F, but for clarity I believe I am the latter. I know there is no precise answer, so just say what you have time for. Thanks. "

74:58 Nathan Purkiss, aide to San Francisco city supervisor (district 8) Mark Leno tells us all about the new measure that guarantees medical assistance to city employees who are diagnosed with gender identity disorder. Passed on April 30 by a 9-2 vote (9 'yes' votes required to pass), this makes San Francisco the only city in the nation to pay for its employees to receive sex changes. The measure awaits the signature of Mayor Willie Brown. Nathan tells us about some of the behind-the-scenes thinking and some of the public responses to this trans-friendly measure.
