Adam Mastoon, photographer whose new project "The Shared Heart: Portraits and Stories Celebrating Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Young People" is a book, exhibit, curriculum and website. The book contains written narratives by and photographs of a diverse collection of young persons about the joys and challenges of growing up gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered. We talked with Adam about the project, and about the coming out experiences of young people and how adults can facilitate them.
