J'Noel Gardiner lost her legal battle to defend her marriage as a transsexual woman. Her close friend and collaborator, Will Adams, a retired professor of political science who specialized in constitutional law including civil rights and liberties and writer, gives us their perspective on the invalidation of her marriage by the Kansas Supreme Court.
