Question of the Week
"My neighbors have made my life hell for those 5 years and so after various efforts to fight back alone against several households of hate, we want to move. But where? Into another ignorant community? I know there will always be a few, but I'm way outnumbered. Can you help me get in touch with someone who can help us find a more forward community either in Georgia or out west? I guess you could say I identify as a heterosexual male with some effeminate traits."

In the summer of 2000, a heart-wrenching story about an Ohio state agency taking a transgender child from loving parents made headlines. At that time, we interviewed the parents and their attorneys, until a court-imposed gag order kept us from learning their further fates. Now, four years later, trans-parent Lauren Lipscomb & hir partner Charlie talk about the whole experience, including Lauren's transition and how it affected the custody proceedings.
