In Vancouver, the only gender clinic outside of Clark University closed, while transpersons across the country are moving to Alberta to take advanatage of that province's support for trans medical care and treatment. Canadian transactivist Tami Starlight, board member of Egale Canada and founder of Transaction Canada, reports on the state of transgender rights, care and activism "north of the border".
