45:26 Question of the Week

"I was watching the academy awards last Sunday night and the best actress category came up and they show shorts of the films nominated. The transamerica clip runs last. And the winner is, Reese Witherspoon, who then gets up to make her speech nothing new there except she proceeds to say five times that she's a real woman during her speech. Now I find that offensive since the transamerica clip had just run before she got up to make her speech. My question is this do you think I'm being over sensitive or do you think that my opinion has some merit?"

52:29 Join us we speak with Dan Hunt, co-producer of a tragic but ultimately hopeful new documentary film "Cruel and Unusual" that reveals the merciless entrapment of transgender individuals at the intersection of our gender and penal systems. While this depiction of the plight of incarcerated trans persons may present little surprise to well-informed observers, it will surely prove to be a welcome and invaluable tool towards alleviating the gross injustices suffered by such individuals.

91:46 For most transsexuals born before 1960, there is one name which stands as our first - and for many years, only - example of someone to whom we could secretly relate in a very personal and essential way. Bradford Louryk, creator and performer of an impressive new show titled "Christine Jorgenson Reveals", provides a profound view into the life and character of this trans pioneer.
