  Two novels dealing with trans protagonists recently tied as winners of the Project QueerLit award. Alicia Goranson, from the Boston area, talks with us about her novel Supervillainz, an allegory of a pair of transgender friends chased through a network of genderqueers by the ambitions of a family of superheroes. And Peggy Munson, disabled queer femme writer and author of the novel Origami Striptease, talks about disability and some of the realities of living with CFIDS: Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome.

Alex is Information Coordinator in charge of shelter for run aways; he suffered severe family violence because of his gender identity. Anya is queer project organizer for KyrgyzTRANS and LBT LABRYS, and Elf project organizer.
